Biography
Eyes of the Oak is a doom-laden force from the forests of Sörmland, Sweden. Blending crushing riffs with a hypnotic, psychedelic haze, the band has carved out a place in the Scandinavian underground with two full-length albums, a standalone single, and an EP — all released within the span of just three years. The latest EP marks another step in the band’s ongoing evolution, deepening their sound with focus and weight.
Their debut The Stone Vortex (2023) introduced a dense, meditative sound steeped in heavy atmosphere and occult imagery. In 2024, they returned with Neolithic Flint Dagger, a darker and more melodic offering that pushed their sonic boundaries even further. The band also gained attention for their EP Curse of the Mummy (2025), released on 12″ vinyl with a fully biodegradable hemp sleeve — one of the first of its kind.
Eyes of the Oak has built a strong reputation as a powerful live act, with performances at Västerås Doomfest and three separate shows in Norway during 2025. This summer, the band will appear at VINGÅKERSVRÅLET alongside acts such as The Haunted and F.K.Ü. With an expanding live schedule and a steadily evolving sound, Eyes of the Oak shows no signs of slowing down.
